Ryan
Like the tides, some forces are simply ineluctable. Thus it was for Ryan and his attempt to resist the pull of live action gaming and the gamehole. As a credit to his constitution and fortitude, he held out until he was nearly 40, but now he is safely tucked into the gamehole's gooey depths.
Ryan's nerd credentials are legion. Dude has a massive comic book collection and is a serious authority on titles, characters and even artists in both the Marvel and lesser D.C. universes. He is also a big Star Wars nerd. Actually, that is quite an understatement. That is like saying Megan Fox is kind of cute and that Rush Limbaugh is mildly annoying. Ryan is a fricken massive Star Wars nerd. He owns every edition of the movies ever released, knows every line and sound from every movie and owns all of the kitsch from Star Wars sheets to Star Wars cookie cutters.
Sure Ryan has a wife that bakes nice things, has two kids, has a house and even a job, but something big was missing from this superficially complete yet glaringly incomplete life - fantasy role playing! Enter the gamehole.
We are proud to report that Ryan has successfully completed his entrance requirements to the gamehole dojo which includes: Dice Rolling 101; Advanced Dice Rolling - "it's Cocked"; Theories of GM Dickering - "I should get some sort of circumstance bonus"; and, Basics of Delivery Pizza Ordering.
We are very pleased to have Ryan in our midst and are happy to finally provide his life with some meaning. We hope that he continues to be diligent with his studies and continues to work on his d20 tossing skills. With enough blood, sweat and Cheetos, he may someday attain admission to the inner circle, the goal of every gamehole initiate.
